Bostjan Kozole
Evrosad (Slovenia)
Boštjan Kozole is managing director of Evrosad in Slovenia. Having joined the company in 1996, Boštjan took the role of director after his father retired in 2002. Evrosad is a leading fruit exporter in Slovenia, exporting to 14 European countries including the UK, Scandinavia and Russia, which is one of their most important markets. Boštjan participates in many fresh produce conference and fairs in the EU. He is a member of a number of organizations as well as president of the Fruit Association of Slovenia and vice-president of the Chamber of Agricultural and Food Enterprises.
Ramesh Mamidala
Emirates SkyCargo (UAE)
Ramesh Mamidala is responsible for Emirates Skycargo's global infrastructure and product management. In this role, he rolled out key facilities for the Emirates Group, including the state-of-the-art Cargo Mega Terminal in Dubai - one of the world's most automated and efficiently run cargo terminals. He and his team have been responsible for building and operating a successfully established cool-chain operation at the facility, with a specific focus on the healthcare industry. The enhancements and innovations he has implemented for healthcare products are gradually being extended to fruit and vegetables.

Mihir Patel is CEO of Amancorp, the exclusive regional distributor of Airfree air sterilisers and air purifiers, a European brand with patented purification technology based on safe and natural heat sterilisation. Numerous case studies conducted in Dubai by Amancorp with leading regional produce companies such as Barakat, Organic Foods & Café and Shukri Hassan have shown that using Airfree in commercial cold rooms and chillers can increase the shelf life of produce such as soft fruit by up to five times, allowing for a reduction in cooling temp by 2.5°C.

Simon Bakht is the president of Arab Marketing and Finance Inc. (AMFI), which is a leading public relations, research, marketing and communications counselling company. It operates in the Middle East, North Africa and the CIS countries with 20 full-time employees. Experience and specialized services geared to the food and agricultural product sectors in target markets make AMFI one of the most functional PR and market-development companies in the Middle East and CIS areas. AMFI's head office is in Beirut and it has regional operational bases in Azerbaijan, Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Sukhdev Singh is managing director of FOOD Freshly AFC - Agriculture & Food Consulting. In 1994 he established the company in Germany and developed different freshness retainers, including an edible coating system, to help the fresh-food industry extend the shelf lives of fresh-cut fruit, vegetables and salads. He has also developed the 3-PPP concept of Pre-Sanitising, Preservation and Packaging for the fresh-food industry. As project manager he has worldwide responsibility for the implementation of the 3-PPP-based turnkey project.

Manu Ghai is an emerging-markets analyst for Planet Retail in London. She has spent years researching consumer markets and the retail sector, specialising in emerging grocery retail markets like India and the Middle East. She joined Planet Retail in 2007 and often travels to Asia and Middle East to present to local retailers and visit stores. Manu holds an MBA from the University of East London and is a member of the Retail Industry Professionals network.

His major accomplishment has been the publication of best cold-chain practices that are used throughout Europe today.

Ahmed El-Hodaiby is general manager of Trade Waves, a leading Egyptian grower and exporter of fresh produce. Ahmed founded Trade Waves in 2004 and since then the company has gained a global reputation and penetrated several markets in Africa, the EU - including the UK - and Russia. Seeking further expansion, Trade Waves has lately partnered with other business specialists to form RABWA Agriculture with a plan to reclaim 400ha. Ahmed is the managing director of RABWA, which has an authorised capital of £100m.
Alejandro Moralejo
All Lemon (Argentina)
Alejandro Moralejo has been the commercial manager of San Miguel Fresh Fruit since 2009. He began working for the company in 2000, having previously been general manager of Milagro and also its commercial and agricultural manager, when he carried out different sweet citrus projects. San Miguel is one of the 12 companies that founded All Lemon, the quality seal for Argentinean exportable lemons that was established in 2009 and in which Alejandro participates actively. Alejandro graduated as an agronomist engineer from Universidad de Buenos Aires and has attended several financial and agricultural business seminars at Universidad Austral and Universidad de San Andrés.
