The UK supermarket chain is looking to open a new store at Dubai's Palm Jumeirah resort in April 2011
UK retailer Waitrose is considering the possibility of opening a new store in Dubai, according to the Grocer, at the Emirate's man-made resort, Palm Jumeirah.
The retailer, which operates via a licensing deal with Fine Fare Food Market in Dubai, is reportedly planning an 11,400 sq ft store, which it hopes to open in April 2011.
This would make Waitrose the first supermarket on the development.
